- Lately -

I have finished my first week at my new job. So far it's been cool. The people I work with seem like cool folks. From what I've seen so far, it looks as if this is going to be a hard job. Always lots to do, especially writing and analyzing data. But interesting stuff, none the less.
John and I watched the Presidential debates last night. Overall, I thought Kerry did a much better job getting his point across to the audience than Dubya did. Kerry kept his composure no matter what was thrown at him and Dubya seemed to fumble quite a bit. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again until I wanted to turn the TV off. I can't believe this guy graduated from Yale. Anyway, I hope the American people have a better idea of what Kerry is made of now and will make their choice accordingly.
I heard that Mt. St. Helens erupted today. Nothing catastrophic but big enough to be noticed. We had an earthquake here this week, a 6.0, but of course I didn't feel it. We've had two noticeable earthquakes in Cali since we've lived here and I've felt neither of them.
