My new hero
The other night I saw a story on PBS about Gloria Flora, a politically active environmentalist. She is the former U.S. Forest Supervisor of the Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana. She has been fighting the Bush Administration's attempt to appease the Oil & Gas Gods who want to drill there. If this was allowed, one of the world's most pristine and untouched ecosystems would be devastated. It was interesting to learn that across the border the Canadian government has allowed drilling in the Rockies and the animal species native to the area are disappearing rapidly. I swear, the more I learn about Dubya and his corporate friends, the more I hate them. I truly believe that if he wins this election (or steals it again) we will see a social revolution like none before. Traditional Mountaineering
